Grampians Eats is my way of painting a picture of the wonderful region, connecting and engaging with the community, helping creatives and businesses. It is a play on my name (Kate Eats) and the region where I live.
In 2016 I created the Grampians Eats Instagram and Facebook account. Grampians Eats promotes special places, Grampians Made and the fabulous folks of the Grampians.
In addition to creating my own content, I encourage locals and visitors to contribute. Businesses cannot pay to be appear on Grampians Eats. Individuals, cafes, creatives, shop owners, event organisers, photographers etc can tag #grampianseats or #supportlocalgrampians to be considered for coverage. Alternatively, you can send me a direct message via Facebook or Instagram.

SUPPORT LOCAL GRAMPIANS CAMPAIGN
I am passionate about the survival of our rural communities now and in the future. For this reason, I launched the ‘Support local Grampians campaign‘. Raising awareness and helping people feel visible and valued.
The Grampians is a rural region located in western Victoria, Australia. In addition to the National Parks, there are beautiful towns, lakes and farming land. This includes wheat fields, sheep and cattle stations, dairies and grape growing areas. What makes the region even more special is the wonderful locals and sense of community.
