5 reasons why I started a blog

1. I’m aspiring to inspire

This blog is a collection of stories, events and resources for people who want to connect with their community. There are many people out there who are looking for help/solutions/ideas to genuinely connect and to live the life they love.

I’m hoping readers will find inspiration in my writing to step outside their comfort zone. Whether that be to attend an event, volunteer on a committee or even run a similar event in their community.

The more you share and connect, the more your community grows. That is one of the reasons I started a blog.
2. To connect with like-minded people

Starting a blog is a great way of bringing like-minded people together. It is a way of networking without even leaving the farm! Hopefully my blog helps me find people that are passionate about connection and community.

3. To stay connected

My blog is a communication tool, a way to stay connected with my friends, family and colleagues. They can read about my activities and ideas through my blog and provide me with valuable feedback.

4. Blogging is a creative and enjoyable outlet

I can cover whatever topic I like, I am my own editor. I have no creative boundaries. Success for me is defined as having control over my own time . Blogging is the perfect hobby, I set the deadlines, on my own terms and enjoy doing it!

5. Knowledge sharing

I love to teach, I started a blog as another opportunity to share knowledge and resources. The more I share and connect, the more my knowedge and community grows.

I hope you enjoy reading my blogs as much as I enjoy creating them.
